Hill School is seeking a full time Science teacher (grades 7 and 8) for the 2018-2019 school year. Primary duties include teaching 7th and 8th grade science classes and collaborating with the JK-8 Science Department to organize and staff weekly science activities. This position will also include additional responsibilities based on the candidate’s background and interests; these may include athletic coaching, music or drama support, or technology support. Hill School also offers a broad Place-Based Education program featuring our 137 acre campus, which would appeal to candidates with experience in outdoor education, stewardship, and/or conservation.

The Hill School is an independent co-educational day school founded in 1926. It is located on a one hundred and thirty-seven acre campus overlooking the historic town of Middleburg, Virginia approximately forty miles west of Washington DC.
Hill School emphasizes a strong academic program, the fine and performing arts, universal participation in athletics, hands-on learning, and a place-based education program.
