The Field School, founded in 1972 is a co-ed independent day school in Northwest Washington, DC serving grades 6-12. Field believes that learning occurs best in an informal, personal and non-institutional environment. Field has a history of hiring teachers who, because of the many training and development opportunities we offer, find us a very good place to start and advance teaching careers.
A full load of teaching typically includes four sections of class, two seasons of coaching and advising student clubs and activities. Candidates who have or are willing to obtain a commercial driver's license and/or have coaching or playing experience will be strongly considered.
