Landon School of Bethesda, MD is seeking a high school math teacher to begin in September of 2017 who has a strong background in Mathematics and is enthusiastic about teaching. The position involves teaching four sections, coaching two sports, and advising students in our Upper School Division (grades 9-12). Candidates must have completed undergraduate work in Mathematics, possess good people and mathematical skills, and be willing to get involved in and out of the classroom. Strong candidates will exhibit an ability to think about mathematics in creative ways, teach with imagination and vigor, develop students’ conceptual thinking, collaborate with colleagues, and be an active member of the school community and math department. The ideal candidate will have had experience teaching a variety of levels of mathematics.
