Holton-Arms School invites applications for the half-time position of Diversity and Global Education Administrative Assistant for the 2017-18 school year. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. The successful candidates will have interest and/or experience in issues of global education, international affairs, travel, issues of diversity and inclusion, and experiential education. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Diversity and Global Education which spans Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools. This is a twelve-month part-time position with requirements to work 20 hours per week. These hours will generally be scheduled from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm most days and from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Fridays. The position also requires and additional four evening hours for parent/student meetings until 8:30 p.m.
Managing global education and diversity related inquiries and communication with parents, students, faculty, and staff
Writing, updating, and editing global education and diversity related program materials
Coordinating and managing diversity and global education meetings and events (transportation, catering, facilities, event management)
Assisting with the coordination and management of travel arrangements for off-campus programs
