The Lab School of Washington is seeking a substitute registered nurse at its Foxhall Campus (grades 1-4) for a month beginning in late August. Lab’s program for students with learning differences is dynamic and team-centered.
In addition to assessing students and dispensing medication, managing immunization and action plans, the Nurse is responsible for organizing medications for field trips. The Nurse is a member of the administrative team and the Safety, Health, and Emergency Committee.
A master’s degree in Nursing, a license to practice in the District of Columbia, and school or camp experience required. Other qualifications include strong interpersonal and technology skills, a collegial approach, and excellent organizational skills.
