Sidwell Friends, a coeducational Quaker day school located in N.W. Washington, DC, seeks an interim full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2017-2018 school year in its Upper School division. The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher of Mathematics in a high school setting, and should be prepared to teach all levels of high school mathematics. He/she should have an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and to establish meaningful relationships with students from diverse backgrounds in grades 9-12. Other duties and responsibilities include student advising and fulfillment of general faculty duties. A bachelor's degree and three years of teaching experience are required. A master’s is preferred.
