St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a One-to-One Program Coordinator to begin July 1, 2018.

Summary: The One-to-One Coordinator will be responsible for the management of the Student Macbook Laptop (~500 devices) and iPad Program (~100 devices). The Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Technology, the Academic Technology Coordinator, and Academic Division Heads to ensure the success of the program.
The ideal candidate should be personable and have a deep understanding of Apple computers. Written and spoken communication skills are crucial in this role. One should be able to maintain good documentation and organization of the laptop program and the systems they work in.
Manage the One-to-One Program (Apple iPads and Laptops), which includes:
Assisting in planning for the purchase of devices
Supervising image design, configuration, and deployment
Supervising the packaging of applications, printers and drivers
Supervising device distribution to students
Supervising Content Filtering for all devices (OpenDNS and Securly)
Working in the Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets, etc)
Staffing the Help Desk at designated times during the day
Working with the business office to manage student account information and fees
Managing inventory of backup and loaner units
Act as the Technical Spokesperson for the Laptop Program, which includes:
Presenting to families during laptop distribution days and Back-to-School Nights
Interfacing with students, parents, faculty and administration
Creating and publishing procedural materials and forms
Creating and publishing user instruction materials
Managing the resolution of all questions and issues related to the program
Assisting faculty in planning the integration of laptops into the program
Participating as a member of relevant committees
Assisting in student and faculty training
Assist Tech Support Manager with other issues, which includes:
Monitoring and managing Code42’s Crashplan Server for all distributed machines
Assisting in monitoring the ticketing system and Support Desk phone line
Triaging service requests
Receiving and resolving general support tickets
Cross-training as Tech Support Manager
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant major
Skills: An effective One-to-One Coordinator will possess strong and deep experience with the macOS and iOS; management skills in planning and problem analysis / resolution; and exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong experience preferred in a variety of applications including JAMF Pro, macOS, iOS, Google Suite for Education, and Microsoft Office 365.
A minimum of five years experience with macOS and iOS and a significant management and/or leadership experience.
Working knowledge of a Mobile Device Management (MDM) System
Use of JAMF’s MDM Software “JAMF Pro” (previously Casper)
Knowledge of Apple’s DEP Program and Volume Purchase Program
Knowledge of Apple School Manager and Apple Classroom
Understanding of the Terminal, Bash Scripting, Python, and use of Jamf API
Experience in a Apple Technical Support, customer service, and/or a help desk environment
Experience in an educational institution
Experience in computer hardware support or maintenance
