Washington Episcopal School in Bethesda, MD, seeks an experienced and dynamic full-time teacher for Middle School Math and Science. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the content areas (Earth, Life, and Physical Science and Elementary Math through Algebra), as well as current best practices in teaching and learning and social-emotional learning. WES’s middle school faculty are a team of dedicated teachers who foster a vibrant learning community combining joy and rigor. This full-time position includes homeroom and Advisory responsibilities, with the opportunity for study trip moderating, coaching, or club moderating.
Qualified candidates will possess degree(s) in Education, Math, and/or Science with a graduate degree preferred, and will have demonstrated successful experience working with middle school students .
