National Presbyterian School, an independent, coeducational elementary (Nursery-Grade 6) school located in Washington, DC, seeks Teaching Associates for the 2019-2020 school year. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and have experience with elementary school-aged children.
Under the supervision of homeroom teachers, Teaching Associates will work in classrooms to provide instructional support in all subject areas. Teaching Associates also participate fully in the life of the school. Additional responsibilities include attending grade level and full faculty meetings and assuming duties related to lunch, recess, and dismissal.
The candidate should possess the skills and passion necessary to inspire learning and enhance the overall educational experience by fostering students’ academic, ethical, social, and emotional development in accordance with the National Presbyterian School mission, philosophy, and Core Values.
