The Front Office Assistant at The Field School is part of a two-person team tasked with providing administrative support services to the entire Field School Community – applicants and their families, current students and their families as well as Field School faculty and staff. The Front Office is the nerve center and hub of the school and many folks have their very first interaction with Field via the Front Office either in person or over the phone. Our aim is to cultivate and maintain a welcoming and warm atmosphere while managing the duties and tasks of our vibrant school. This is an entry level position for which we are willing to train.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answering Main Phone Lines and Directing Calls
Greeting and Directing Visitors
Sorting and Distributing Mail
Maintain inventory of supplies
Ordering of all office supplies including toner and coffee
Replacing toner and paper in copiers
Management of Student Forms
Administering minor First Aid
Posting daily schedule
Assist in school-wide events as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient with all Google apps including Google docs, Excel, Word
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Emotionally/socially intelligent = good judgement
Strong organizational skills
Excellent time management
Must love teenagers and their parents
Previous customer service experience
First Aid Certification
Previous Experience Working in a School
Knowledge of Magnus Health and Whipple Hill
A Bachelors degree
This position operates in a professional school environment
