Director of Communications: The Director of Communications oversees and advances the School’s comprehensive communications program and develops and implements short-term and long-term communications strategies that convey the School’s unique character and mission and strengthen relationships with and among the School’s various constituencies. A member of the School’s Leadership Team and reporting to the Assistant Head for Institutional Advancement, the Director of Communications works closely with the Head of School, the Assistant Heads, and other senior leaders, particularly those prolific with messaging and critical to the School’s brand. The Director is responsible for building and leading the four-person creative team that produces the wide range of print and digital material produced by the Communications Office. The Director sets the vision for each product, identifies its strategic value, and integrates and aligns the message with other School communications. He/she has the experience and skills to conceive and lead efforts that could include production of a video; direction of campus photo shoots; development of web pages and social-media campaigns; and creation of various printed material.
