Washington Episcopal School in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a Director of the Extended Day Program. This is a part-time salaried position with benefits, but could also be considered a full-time position if combined with additional support as an Early Childhood or Elementary resource teacher during the regular school day. The Extended Day program serves students in grades Nursery-8 after school until 6:00 p.m. The mission of the program is to provide a safe, joyful, and welcoming environment for students as they spend time outside on the playground, enjoy snacks and activities, and work on assignments.

The Extended Day Director is responsible for developing and managing the Extended Day program, supervising students and responding to their needs and interests, managing Extended Day staff, and building and maintaining relationships with the community.
