Full-Time Middle School Counselor
Lowell School, a progressive school of 350 students in NW Washington, DC, is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Middle School Counselor. This role consults and collaborates with teachers, families, and administrators to meet the social/emotional needs of individuals and groups of students from 6th through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will possess strong characteristics of emotional intelligence and a demonstrated ability to support students and families during times of social-emotional vulnerability. Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Middle School and the Student Support Team to observe students, meet with teachers, identify student social, emotional, and behavioral needs, and provide follow-up communication and planning.
