Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School is seeking an experienced child and adolescent mental health professional to join our team of guidance counselors in the student support services department. The guidance counselor works closely with students, teachers, administrators, and parents to understand and meet the needs of all of our learners. A primary responsibility is providing direct services to students with a range of social-emotional and behavioral needs, including individual and small group counseling, larger group social-emotional learning, and supporting students in an advisory role. Counselors offer consultation to teachers and parents around student social-emotional and behavioral needs and supports, facilitate implementation of behavior monitoring tools and support plans, and tak
