St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks an experienced Health Teacher who can also serve as the Assistant Athletic Director to begin August 22, 2022. The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service.
Position: The job involves teaching two or three health courses each trimester of the school year. A minimum of three years teaching experience is desired. This opportunity also includes serving as the Assistant Athletic Director with duties commensurate with experience in the field. The ability to coach a team sport and serve as an advisor are also desirable.
Qualifications: BA in Health, Counseling, PE, Education or similar field. Applicants should be skilled in the integration of technology as a tool to advance student learning. Knowledge of social networking platforms necessary to communicate for our Athletics Office. General flexibility, good humor, and the ability to work effectively as a team member are also essential.
