Aidan Montessori School, located in Woodley Park, Washington, DC, is accepting applications for the position of Director of Advancement for the 2022 – 2023 school year. This is a full-time, exempt, benefited position, with minimum on-site hours from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Mondays through Fridays.
This position is responsible for shepherding all fundraising activities at the school, working with the Advancement Committee of the Board of Trustees, the administrative team, and parent volunteers. The two largest fundraising activities are the School’s Annual Fund and an Annual Auction. Applicants should be collaborative, strategic, flexible, and good humored.
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of fundraising experience. Experience using Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and/or Veracross preferred. Knowledge of Montessori is helpful, but not required. Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail are also critical.
