Bullis School seeks a full-time Upper School Entrepreneurship Teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year to contribute to our vibrant learning community. Candidates should be capable of, and interested in, teaching a range of students with a specific focus on the implementation of a robust entrepreneurship curriculum including the following: Entrepreneurship Principles, Economics, and Entrepreneurial Finance. Responsibilities include teaching five classes, contributing to department initiatives, and advising. Additional opportunities to supervise after-school activities are based on need and interest. This is a 10-month position reporting to the Director of Entrepreneurship.
The Bullis Upper School Entrepreneurship department emphasizes collaboration and curiosity both in the classroom and among colleagues. - Use of reflection and feedback aimed at continued growth in the field of teaching and working with young people
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certificates are not required
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Education, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in secondary education
- Experience starting and running a business
- Mentor to entrepreneurship students at the high school or college level
