Lowell School, a progressive independent school in Washington, DC, is seeking applicants for the position of Early Childhood and Primary School Counselor. The counselor is a crucial role and collaborates with classroom teachers, division heads, and the student support team to enhance the social-emotional learning and overall well-being of students. We seek candidates who are skilled in counseling support, crisis intervention, and program development and demonstrate a commitment to being highly visible. Successful candidates will have experience with family systems work and enjoy fostering and facilitating collaborative relationships between parents, teachers, and students. This role reports to the Pre-Primary (2.5-4 years) and Primary (Kindergarten–5th grade) School division directors.
