Washington Episcopal School in Bethesda, Maryland is accepting applications for an anticipated opening for an Early Childhood and Elementary French teacher for Pre-Kindergarten 4 through Grade 5 for the 2023-2024 school year.
The ideal candidate would have a degree with a major or minor in French as well as a willingness to work with children from age 4 to age 11.
Responsibilities would include planning lessons and developing curriculum to help students build their vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills, both oral and written. The successful candidate would also help students learn about French-speaking world cultures, employ a variety of instructional methods to respond effectively to student needs, and assess and track student progress, and communicate as needed with colleagues, parents, and students.
