National Presbyterian School, an independent, co-educational elementary school (Age 3 to 6th Grade) in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Upper Elementary Teaching Associate for the 2023-2024 school year.
Under the supervision of homeroom teachers, the Teaching Associate will work in two classrooms to provide instructional support in all subject areas. Teaching Associates also participate fully in the life of the school, and assume additional responsibilities including attending grade level and full faculty meetings and assuming duties related to lunch, recess and dismissal.
In prospective candidates, NPS is looking for educators who possess the skills and passion necessary to inspire learning and enhance the overall educational experience by fostering students’ academic, ethical, social and emotional development in accordance with the National Presbyterian School mission, philosophy and Core Values.
