The Lab School of Washington, an independent school for students with learning differences, seeks a full-time substitute teacher in its Middle School Division (grades 5-8) for the rest of this school year (immediate opening through mid-June). Lab’s dynamic program offers an arts-based curriculum with small classes. Classes may include reading instruction, written language, math, social studies, the arts, and science. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree. Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills are sought after attributes. Experience teaching middle school students with learning differences ideal.
