Upper School Visual Arts Teacher - beginning late August 2024
The Lab School of Washington is an independent school in Washington, DC for students with language based learning differences. We are currently seeking a full-time upper school visual arts teacher beginning in late August 2024 to join a dynamic and collaborative group of teaching artists. Candidates should: Hold a degree in visual arts Be a practicing artist-educator who has demonstrated skill and experience in teaching upper school students Have a working knowledge of digital media and design Have a knowledge of art history and different artistic genres Share a portfolio of individual and student work Maintain their own artistic endeavors Have an interest in working with students with learning differences
