St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a long-term substitute for a Middle School English Teacher to run approximately September 1, 2024  through November 26, 2024. The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service. 

Position: The job involves teaching two sections of 8th grade English, a section of 7th grade English, and acting as an advisor to approximately 12 students.  A minimum of three years teaching experience is desired. 

Qualifications: BA in English, Education, or similar field. Our community is diverse and applicants should possess a high degree of cultural competency and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
