Maret is looking for an inspiring and engaging Choir Teacher (25%) who reflects the school's mission and core values. Candidates should be lifelong learners who have experience differentiating instructional strategies, strong communication skills, and a facility and nimbleness with technology.   The Choir Teacher is responsible for one upper school choir class that meets three times a week for 70-minute blocks. The Choir Teacher also plans, rehearses, and leads several student performances throughout the academic year, including performances during the school day and 4-6 performances outside of the school hours. Thus, flexibility for evening/weekend rehearsals and performances is necessary. Additional opportunities to support the school musicals may be available.
