Loudoun Country Day School is seeking a thoughtful, strategic, and relationship-driven Director of Enrollment Management (Admissions) to join our leadership team as soon as possible. This key administrative role is responsible for leading all aspects of the school’s enrollment and admissions program—from initial inquiry through enrollment and retention. Reporting to the Head of School and serving as a member of the senior leadership team, the Director will shape and communicate the school’s value and mission to prospective families and guide them through a highly personalized admissions process.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in enrollment management or admissions, a compelling communication style, and the ability to lead a team with clarity and inspiration. They should be a skilled listener who can build trust and connection with families while making thoughtful, data-informed decisions. As the school’s chief ambassador for enrollment, this person will bring warmth, professionalism, and insight to every interaction—whether engaging in strategic outreach, coordinating admissions events, or helping families navigate big decisions. They must be equally comfortable analyzing enrollment trends and sitting on the floor with a preschool applicant, and they should possess the emotional intelligence to deliver both good news and hard news with care and integrity.
