St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a Middle School Science Teacher to begin August 25, 2025, and end approximately October 8, 2025. Position:The job involves teaching four year-long science courses to middle school students and serving as an advisor to a group of about 10 students for 6 weeks. A minimum of three years of teaching experience is desired.
Compensation is contingent upon experience and will be prorated for the days taught:
Minimum Annual Salary: $65,000
Maximum Annual Salary: $105,000
Benefits: This long-term substitute position is not entitled to benefits other than sick leave as required by the state of Maryland.
Qualifications: BA in Science, Engineering, Education, or a similar field. General flexibility, good humor, and the ability to work effectively as a team member are also essential.
