Career Center

The Upper School Science Teacher is responsible for teaching in alignment with the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education. Possessing strong depth of knowledge in a discipline subject area, s/he teaches an introductory or advanced physics course and another STEM elective to be determined. Working closely with colleagues in the Science Department and throughout the Upper School, s/he creates and updates plans for content, quality, and continuity of curriculum. S/he actively collaborates with Learning Strategists, Librarians, Educational Technologists, and the counseling staff to develop strategies to support all students. S/he attends all faculty and employee meetings and maintains good communication with families about student progress through regular progress reports and response
