St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is seeking a highly motivated development professional to strengthen individual relationships among parents, alumni, and parents of alumni. Reporting to the Associate Director of Advancement and working closely with St. Andrew’s staff and volunteer leadership, the Community Engagement Officer will be responsible for the continued development and execution of the donor stewardship and engagement program for the school. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Advancement team and will be critical to the Fulfilling Our Promise campaign.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Outstanding writing skills and attention to detail
Three years+ of development or relevant experience
Previous experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies and annual campaigns
Excellent relational, organizational, oral, and written fundraising strategies and annual campaigns
Ability to exercise tact and discretion in working with donors and prospect information
Working knowledge of Raiser's Edge NXT or similar CRM preferred
Knowledge of relevant fundraising principles, practices, and techniques
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to multi-task and work independently in a highly relational and agile work environment
The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal communication skills, a commitment to building and sustaining a broadly diverse community, and the ability to handle confidential information.
