The Director of Enrollment Management is a full-time, 12-month position. The Director of Enrollment Management leads all aspects of student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and retention. This role is essential in advancing the school’s mission, ensuring strong and mission-aligned enrollment, and cultivating a welcoming and inclusive community for prospective and current families.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year enrollment management strategy aligned with the school’s mission and strategic plan.
Establish annual enrollment goals and benchmarks, including targets for inquiry, application, yield, and retention.
Monitor demographic trends, market conditions, and independent school competition to inform strategy.
Partner with the Head of School and the administrative team to ensure enrollment priorities support institutional sustainability and growth.
Admissions & Recruitment
Lead all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment.
Design and execute a compelling recruitment strategy, including open houses, tours, and community events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and local partners.
Ensure a warm, personalized, and mission-aligned experience for all prospective families.
Oversee admissions communications, marketing materials, and digital presence in collaboration with the communications team.
Serve on the Tuition Assistance Committee, along with the Head of School and the Director of Finance, to help ensure equitable and mission-driven allocation of financial aid resources.
Retention and Community Engagement
Collaborate with faculty and leadership to strategically support student and family retention.
Analyze retention data and identify trends to inform schoolwide practices.
Partner with the advancement and communications teams to strengthen family engagement and satisfaction.
Data Analysis and Systems Management
Maintain and optimize the school’s enrollment management systems (e.g., FACTS).
Track and analyze key enrollment metrics and generate regular reports for the Head of School and Board of Trustees.
Use data to drive decision-making and continuously improve admissions practices.
Team Leadership
Partner with faculty and staff to support a collaborative, mission-driven culture for prospective and current families.
Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff involved in the admissions and retention process.
Direct and oversee Parent and Student Ambassador program to welcome new and prospective families.
5–10 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related field, preferably in an independent or Catholic school setting.
Demonstrated success in meeting enrollment goals and managing a full admissions cycle.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships with diverse constituencies.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Experience with enrollment management and CRM systems.

Salary and Benefits
The Woods Academy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a comprehensive health insurance offering, generous
403(b) retirement contributions, vacation leave, and tuition remission benefits. The compensation for this non-exempt position ranges from $120,000-$130,000 commensurate with experience.
