The Admission Office of St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School seeks a part-time, 10 month Assistant Director of Admission to join its team on the Lower School campus. This position will focus primarily on admission for Grades 1-5 while also supporting the Director of Admission with primary years admission, event management, and processing applications and associated paperwork. The Assistant Director will work most closely with the Director of Lower School Admission and the Lower School Admission office, plus with the Director of Enrollment Management and the larger admission team across all three campuses.

Intelligent with a growth mindset, ready to learn about independent schools, admission and financial assistance, the Lower School program, and the Saints culture
Experience in a goals-driven atmosphere, has demonstrated exceptional customer service, is competitive and driven
Has strong written and interpersonal communication skills, balanced with warmth, professionalism, and accuracy; rigorous attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Grade 1-5 interviews with parents and all necessary follow up
Provide exceptional customer service and experience
Meet or exceed all new student enrollment targets for Grades 1-5
Assist Director of Lower School Admission with outreach efforts to preschools and feeder schools
Process documents needed for all Lower School applications
Provide professional and warm communication to parents and children
Coordinate shadow days for rising 1st-5th grade applicants, including assessments
On-campus event management
Off-campus event attendance
Develop 1st-5th grade yield plan
Develop with Director of Lower School Admission spring transition/orientation/buddy programs
Assemble and mail information packets and invitations
Liaise regarding 5th grade retention into Middle School
Attend and assist with ES-5th admission assessments
Provide tours of campus
Greet and settle guests as needed
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree
Experience in a highly-driven, goal-oriented office environment
Independent school experience as a parent, student or employee
Evidence of exceptional customer service
Ability to tour, climb stairs, lift packages and supplies
Note: Occasional compensated evening and weekend work is required for special events.
