The Langley School, a PS-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, seeks a 3rd-4th Grade Instructional Specialist and Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.

The 3rd-4th Grade Instructional Specialist and Instructional Coach position supports students with diverse learning needs by providing direct support and enrichment. Responsibilities include direct student support, collaborating with teachers on instruction and curriculum design, and the development of executive functioning skills in the classroom. This person will also work as an instructional coach and collaborate as an embedded member of the 3rd and 4th-grade teaching teams. They will partner with grade-level teachers to identify learning needs, plan differentiated instruction, and monitor progress. The individual in this position will also facilitate conversations with parents, in partnership with administration and/or teachers, to share observations and recommendations for student support. Communication and collaboration with teachers and parents are key to the success and effectiveness of this role.

Requirements:
Master’s degree in an education-related field, expertise in supporting diverse learners, and a minimum of 8 years of teaching experience
